Kevin T. Bowser, 53, Owned and Operated Kevin Bowser's Body Shop
Kevin T. Bowser, 53, of Lorain, died Sunday July 22, 2018 at his home of natural causes.
He was born April 29, 1965 in Lorain and had been a lifelong resident of Lorain.
Kevin graduated from Lorain High School in 1983. He grew up working around cars either performing maintenance, detailing or body work. He eventually owned and operated Kevin Bowser’s Body Shop in Brownhelm Township. Prior to that, he had a body shop on Broadway Avenue in Lorain and Albrecht Road in Elyria.
Kevin enjoyed league bowling with his dad Dick and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers, Cleveland Cavaliers and Cleveland Indians fan. He was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Lorain.
He is survived by his wife Rachelle C. Bowser of South Amherst, parents Richard & Nancy Bowser of Lorain, brother Kenneth R. Bowser of Lorain, stepchildren: Logan Howington and Brandon Vanche, many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and his beloved dog Jade. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Erla M. Sholtis and paternal grandmother Angeline Bowser.
The family will receive friends Friday July 27th from 3:00-7:00 pm at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave, Lorain. Funeral services will be held Friday July 27th at 7:00 pm in the funeral chapel. Cremation will follow.
