Junior H. Swick, 92, U.S. Army Veteran
Junior H. Swick, 92, of Lorain, OH, passed away on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at Mercy New Life Hospice Center in Lorain, OH.
Junior was born the eldest of three children in Junior, WV on March 10, 1926.
He enlisted in the U.S. Army and served in WWII in the War of the Battle of the Bulge. Junior married his beloved Sharon R. (nee: Row) Swick on September 15, 1947. Junior worked as a boilermaker for U.S. Steel in Lorain, OH. He was an avid golfer and gardener.
He is survived by his 2 daughters, Charlotte R. Swick of Lorain and Vickie G. Swick of Lorain; son, Bruce A. (Kim) Swick of Lorain; granddaughter, Jennifer R. Dispenza; and sister, Shirley Johr of Lake City, FL.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years of marriage, Sharon R. Swick in 2011; parents, Howard and Audra (nee: Corley) Swick; and sisters, Juanita (nee: Teter) Coberly and Lillian Galford.
