Ronald Dean Thomas Jr., 32, Known to be a Jokester

He was a lifelong resident of Lorain. He was also known as Lil Ron, Unc, Ronald Dean Jelly bean, Riddle and Randle.

Lil Ron was one of kind. He was known to be a jokester. He loved to pick on his family members. His sneaky little laughter will forever leave a lasting impression on so many. Lil Ron has been an employee of the family business of Tommy and Danielle-TK Construction for the past six years. Ron spent most of his free time taking care of his kids (dogs), Mila, Ottis and Tez. Ron enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his nieces and nephews. He adored his mother. She was his best friend. In addition, he enjoyed playing video games on his PlayStation, listening to music and lighting it up.

Lil Ron was survived and loved by family and many, many friends, who he was like a brother to. He will forever be cherished by his mother Tina Redmond, of Lorain. He was desperately loved by his sisters, Danielle and brother in law Tommy Keene, of South Amherst, Edith Barker, of Lorain and Krishina and brother-in-law Jeff Abner, of Lorain and half-brothers Justin and Phillip, of Lorain. His love has left a lasting impression on his nieces, Kelsea, Skyler, Lou-Emma, Haven, Ella and nephews Jaidyn, Wyatt, Dallas, Avian and Kaysen. He was also survived by his maternal grandfather Douglas Barker, of Sheffield Township, Aunts Peggy (Jeff) Barker, Samantha (Rick) Altpater and Terri (Jeff) Abner, an uncle Jerry Barker and many cousins Dj (Heather), Dustin, Casey, Josh, Brandon, Dottie, Lil Jerry, Emely, Teddy, Douglas and Jackie.

He will join his maternal mawmaw, Dotty Barker, his uncle Dale Barker, great aunt and uncles, and his cousins Ashley Cleavinger and Andrew Barker all in heaven.

His family will receive friends Friday, September 14 from 11 AM until time of his funeral service at 1 PM in the Richard J. Reidy Funeral Home, 1783 East 31st Street, South Lorain. Minister Steve Cain of West Side Church of Christ, Cleveland will officiate. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memory Garden, Avon.
