Kriste Ristofski, 82, Passion for Gardening and Cooking
Kriste “Kico” Ristofski, 82, of Lorain, fell asleep in the Lord Tuesday, October 2, 2018 in Mercy Regional Medical Center, Lorain.
He was born on December 14, 1935 in Dupeni, Macedonia, to the late Spiro & Petra Ristovski. He was in the automotive industry at Ford Motor Company until retiring in 1998. Kico had a passion for gardening, fishing, playing the slots at the casino, traveling and his TV remote control. He loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Kico was a founding member of St. Clement Macedonian Orthodox Church, Avon.
Kico was the beloved husband of 60 years to Nuna Ristofski of Lorain: son, Spiro (Angela) Ristofski of Avon; Daughter, Lucy (Mark) Obran of Amherst; brother Boris of Macedonia; grandchildren Markie (Amy) of Amherst, Matthias, Vesna and Ryan and great grandchildren Penelope and Otto.
Other than his parents Kico was preceded in death by his sister Ristosia.
His family will receive friends Friday, October 5 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at St. Clement Macedonian Orthodox Church, 38665 French Creek Road, Avon, Ohio, 44011. His funeral service will be there Saturday at 10 a.m. Very Rev. Father Vasil Manasiev, Pastor will officiate. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Lorain.
