Georgene R. Perrier, 91, Dedicated to Her Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren
Georgene R. Perrier (nee Binder), age 91, of Lorain, passed away peacefully in her sleep at the Main Street Care Center in Avon Lake on the evening of Saturday October 13, 2018.
Born in Lorain on September 9, 1927, Georgene was a graduate of Lorain High School.
She was dedicated to her grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She received much enjoyment in being involved in their lives. She was an accomplished cook who offered spaghetti & meatballs, breaded pork chops and chicken noodle soup as three of her hallmark dishes. In addition, she and Vince enjoyed spending time at their summer residence in Pelee Island, Canada.
She is survived by daughters Connie Robb (William) of Lorain and Kathryn Perrier of Bowling Green, and sons David Perrier of Lorain and Donald Perrier (Sheryl) residing in San Diego, California. Other survivors include ten grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Georgene was preceded in death by her husband Vincent Perrier in 2008, by her parents George and Sarah (nee Albright) Binder, and grandson Chris Robb.
Family and friends are invited to attend the graveside service. Gather at the entrance of Ridge Hill Memorial Park in Amherst Township at 12 noon. Please plan on joining the family for lunch at 1:00 at Rosewood Place, 4493 Oberlin Ave., Lorain.
