Humberto Jose Zendejas, 61, Cleveland Browns and Indians Fan
Humberto Jose Pancho Zendejas, 61, of Lorain, passed away Saturday evening, December 1, 2018, in Lorain from a lengthy illness with his family by his side.
He was born October 20, 1957 in Lorain. Jose worked for York International Lorain, Ohio for 22 years. Jose was a lifetime Cleveland Browns and Indians fan. He was also a big fan of Carlos Santana.
He is survived by his mother Joyce E. (née Dunn) Zendejas, of Norwalk; his children, Anita Marie (James) Zendejas, of Lorain, Humberto Jose Zendejas Jr., of Lorain, Antonio Jason (Keri) Zendejas, of Norwalk, Alicia Nicole (Scott) Rose, of Lorain, Amber Leigh (David) Conley, of Lorain; sister Bonnie L. Soto, of Lorain; his spouse of 19 years Melissa and by his grandchildren Darius and Demari Ramey, Tristan and Chase Rose, Sofia Zendejas and Kason Jay Zendejas.
He was preceded in death by his father Jose R. Zendejas in 2018, sisters, Leticia Medina in 1995, and Blanca Lopez, in 2009.
His family will receive friends Wednesday, December 5, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM in Richard J. Reidy Funeral Home, 1783 East 31st. Street, South Lorain. His funeral service will be Thursday at 10:30 AM at the funeral home. Rev. Father. John C. Retar, Pastor of St. Frances Cabrini Parish, Lorain will officiate. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst.
His family suggests memorial contributions to the Saint Frances Cabrini Parish Endowment Fund, 2143 Homewood Dr. Lorain, Ohio 44055.
