Steven C. Scali, 57, Avid Cleveland Sports Fan
Steven C. Scali, 57 of Lorain, died unexpectedly on Monday December 10, 2018 at his home.
He was born July 24, 1961 in Lorain and had been a lifelong resident of Lorain.
Steve graduated from Admiral King High School in Lorain and worked at Coley’s Machining in Vermilion. He was an avid Cleveland sports fan and enjoyed camping and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his father Franklin Scali of Lorain; brother David Scali of Lorain, sister Sandi (Jim) Smith of Lorain, brother Dominic (Gayle) Scali of Sheffield Village and sister Lynne Scali of Lorain and nieces and nephews Jason Buckley, James Smith, Eric Shunk, Amber Shunk and Anna Marie Scali. He was preceded in death by his mother Patricia Scali (nee Harrell) in 1992 and infant sister Anna Marie Scali.
The family will receive friends Thursday December 13th from 4:00-8:00 pm at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave, Lorain. Funeral services will be held on Friday December 14th at 11:00 am in the funeral chapel. The Rev. Craig Hovanec, pastor of St. Peter Parish in Lorain, will preside. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Lorain.
