Carlos Ruben Rodriguez Vazquez, 49, Enjoyed His Family and Friends
Carlos Ruben “Compa” Rodriguez Vazquez, 49, of Lorain, passed away Wednesday, December 19, 2018 in University Hospital, Cleveland following a long illness.
He was born in Humacao, Puerto Rico December 16, 1969 to Aida Iris Vazquez and Segundo Rodriguez.
Ruben worked for Elyria Foundry and on natural gas lines. Compa was very social. He enjoyed his family and friends.
He will be missed by his son Carlos S. Rodriguez of Wooster; daughters Ida Rodriguez and Chanel Pardo both of Wooster; sisters Isa Rodriguez of Lorain, Nitza (Danny) Ortiz of Avon Lake; brother Jorge (Gelen) Rodriguez of Puerto Rico and many nieces and nephews.
Carlos was preceded in death by his father, son Carlos Ruben Rodriguez II; daughters Cristina and Marielsie Rodriguez and his brother Julio C. Rodriguez.
His family will receive friends Wednesday, December 26 from 5 to 7 PM in Casa de Dios, Puerta de Cielo, 220 East 28th Street, Lorain. His funeral service will be there Thursday at 10 AM. Rev. Tina Martinez, Pastor will officiate.
His family suggests memorial contributions to offset funeral expenses.
