Kaydean Marie Phillips, 68, Bus Driver for Clearview Schools
Kaydean Marie Kay Phillips (née Bieling), 68 of Lorain, passed away Friday, February 15, 2019 at Kingston of Vermilion with her family at her side.
She was born on July 28, 1950 in East Liverpool, Ohio to the late Dean M. and Kathleen E. (née Buchheit) Bieling.
Kay was a 1968 graduate of Lorain High School. She worked a bus driver for the Clearview Schools. Kay was an active member of Peace Mennonite Church, Lorain and made God the focal point of her life. She also loved her family and friends. Kay brought joy and love to every person’s life she crossed. She had a spark of life that couldn’t be dulled.
She will be deeply missed by her son Robert Laws of Sheffield Lake; sisters Colleen (Don) Buczynsky and Virginia Lindsey both of Lorain; grandchildren Jacob, Adam, Blake and Olivia Laws and many nieces and nephews.
Other than her parents Kay was preceded in death by her son John Laws.
Her family will receive friends Tuesday, February 19 from 10 AM until time of her funeral service at 12 PM at Peace Mennonite Church, 9300 West Ridge Road, Elyria, with Pastor Steve Pilarsh officiating.
