He was born December 23, 1954 in Cleveland. He was an avid outdoorsman. John enjoyed playing and watching sports.

Survivors include Donna Taylor; his sons Jason and Joseph; daughters-in-law Amy and Tara; grandchildren Keilee, Emma, Austin, Kendall, and Ava; brother Robert and sisters Sharon and Norma

John was preceded in death by his parents Norman and Mary and a brother Ron.

Visitation from Saturday, March 9 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM with service to follow at East Broad Church of Christ, 1125 East Broad Street, Elyria.
