Patricia A. Leboda, 77, Enjoyed Reading and Watching Soap Operas

Photo of Patricia A. Leboda Patricia A. “Pat” Leboda (nee Hales), 77, of Lorain, died Sunday April 21, 2019 at University Hospital St John Medical Center in Westlake after a lengthy illness.

She was born December 4, 1941 in Oberlin and had resided in Lorain most of her life.

Pat graduated from Lorain High School then worked at Lorain Tool Enterprises and at various waitress jobs while being a full-time mom.

She was a member of the former Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Lorain. She enjoyed reading and watching her soap operas.

She is survived by her sons: Mark Osko (Nancy) of Avon and William Huskinson (Angie Risner) of Elyria; brother Terry Hales of Elyria, sister Karen Novak of Cleveland, brother Ron Novak (Karen) of North Royalton, sister Marianne Smith of Richmond Heights, grandson Shane Osko (Emily Haefele) of Amherst, granddaughter Emma Osko of Avon and great granddaughter Alia Osko of Amherst. She was preceded in death by her father Alton Hales and mother Mary Novak.

The family will receive friends Friday April 26th from 10:00-11:00 am at St Mary Catholic Church, 310 8th St, Lorain. The mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am in the church with The Rev. Bob Kraig, retired pastor of St John Neumann Catholic Church in Strongsville, presiding. Private family burial will be held at a later date at Nesbett Cemetery in Grafton.
