Mary K. Kosakowski, 54, Accomplished Photographer

Photo of Mary K. Kosakowski Mary K. Kosakowski (nee Ritenauer), age 54, of Lorain, passed away at her residence on Tuesday April 23, 2019.

Mary was born in Lorain on December 21, 1964 and remained a life-long resident of the city.

She was a 1983 graduate of Admiral King High School and went on to attend classes in marketing and advertising at both Lorain County Community College and The Ohio State University. Mary had formerly been employed as an advertising account executive for the Morning Journal for more than a decade.

She was an avid fan of all Cleveland professional sports teams as well as an ardent supporter of the Ohio State Buckeyes. An accomplished photographer, she enjoyed chronicling special family moments and important events throughout the county through the lens of her cameras.

She is survived by her husband of almost twenty-eight years Jeff Kosakowski, along with her pet Dachshund, Buddy. She also leaves her brother George Ritenauer of Lorain and sister Lori Ritenauer residing in California.

Mary was preceded in death by her father George Ritenauer, mother Mary Tomson (nee Schneider), and brother Joseph Ritenauer.
