Marlene Brown, 80, Loving Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandma
Marlene Brown (nee Rahrig), 80, of Elyria Township, passed away peacefully in the arms of God Monday July 8, 2019.
Marlene was born May 26, 1939 in Lorain. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandma. She enjoyed reading, going out to eat with family and was awesome at reminding all her family of dates of people’s birthdays or special occasions.
She is survived by her children: Mary Lou (Dennis) Dembinski, Charles A. Brown, Dianna M. Brown, Ralph D. Brown, Lawrence A. Brown and Vernon L. Brown, all of Elyria Township; grandchildren: Dustin (Tabatha) Dembinski and Amanda (Grant) Howell, all of Sheffield Township; 8 beautiful great grandchildren who could always bring a smile to her face and sisters Donna Rodriguez (nee Rahrig) and Florence Zuffa (nee Rahrig), all of Lorain. She was preceded in death by her great grandson Grady M. Howell, husband Charles J. Brown, sister Alice Watkins (nee Rahrig) and parents Mary Rahrig (nee Matejick) and Lawrence Rahrig.
The family will receive friends Thursday July 11, 2019 from 5:00-8:00 pm at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave, Lorain where funeral services will be held Friday July 12, 2019 at 10:00 am. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Lorain.
