Donald J. Canter, 75, Enjoyed Hunting, Archery, and Fishing

He was born in Lorain, OH on January 29, 1944 to his loving parents, Oris and Stella (nee Oliver) Canter.
Donald worked at American Crucible. He enjoyed hunting, archery, fishing, the outdoors and spending time with his loving family.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years of marriage, Judith (nee King) Canter; daughters, Christina (Bruce Flazynski) Canter, Susanna (Timothy) Shultz, Dustina Canter and Donielle (Reed Acs) Canter; sisters, Martha, Cathy, Linda, Cecelia and Carla; 16 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Oris Canter and Stella Powers; brothers, David and Edward Canter; sisters, Mary Ritz, Wanda Welser, Victoria Calhoun and Jennifer Baldwin; and granddaughter, Molly Canter.
The family will receive friends at Reidy-Scanlan-Giovannazzo Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 2150 Broadway, Lorain (440) 244-1961 on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 from 6:00 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, October 3, 2019 at 10:00 AM. Entombment services will be held at Resthaven Memory Gardens in Avon, OH directly following funeral services.
