Hector Q. Sanchez, 55, Avid Reader
Hector Q. Sanchez, age 55, went to be with the Lord on January 17, 2020.
He was born in Lorain, Ohio on July 22, and then moved to Florida where he spent most of his life. He retired from Publix Supermarket after 20 years of employment. He was an avid reader, enjoyed photography, traveling, going to the movies, and spending time with family. His love for family was immeasurable. With his infectious laugh, he warmed the hearts of all around him. He became an important vessel to his family by being the ultimate caregiver to his parents.
Hector is survived by his beloved mother, Lydia Santana Sanchez, and his siblings: Sylvia Acosta (Juan), Miriam Sanchez, Nelson Sanchez, Shirley Miranda (Fernando), Rafael O. Sanchez, Nydia Goodwin, Wilfredo Sanchez (Robin), and Louis Sanchez (Chrissy). He was nicknamed Super “H” by his 44 nieces and nephews who loved him fiercely and whom he adored. Hector was preceded in death and will rest in paradise with his father, Rafael Sanchez, and brothers, Paul Rafael Sanchez, and Robert Sanchez.
The family will be holding a private celebration of his life and ask that all donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation.
