Andrew D. Rusin, 76, Enjoyed Skiing, Playing Golf, and Spending Time With His Grandchildren

He was born July 31, 1943 in Lorain and had been a lifelong Lorain resident.

Andrew graduated from Lorain High School in 1961 and attended Ohio University.

He owned and operated Rusin Landscaping & Care Free Lawns and then worked as a contractee for Marathon Oil.

Andrew enjoyed skiing, playing golf and spending time with his grandchildren.

He was a member of St. Peter Parish in Lorain.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years Rosie Rusin (nee Dlugos), daughter Stephanie (Michael) Janowick of Avon, son Chris (Sarah) Rusin of Chicago; grandchildren: Christopher & Kennedy Janowick and Ryan & Colin Rusin and sister Patricia (Donald) Forbush of Sheffield. He was preceded in death by his parents Andrew & Elizabeth Rusin (nee Chonko).

The family will receive friends Sunday February 9, 2020 from 2:00-5:00 pm at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave, Lorain. The mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday February 10, 2020 at 11:00 am at St. Peter Parish, 3501 Oberlin Ave, Lorain (please meet at the church) The Rev Gerald Keller will preside. Cremation will follow.
