Wanda Margaret Jurco, 99, Co-Owned and Operated Jurco Farm Market

Photo of Wanda Margaret Jurco Wanda Margaret Jurco (nee Zbydnowski) age 99 of North Ridgeville, passed away peacefully at Life Care Center of Elyria Friday April 17, 2020.

Born in Oberlin, she had resided in North Ridgeville since 1946. She earned an associate degree in Business from Oberlin College.

She was a very active member of St. Peter Church, where she played the organ at daily Mass well into her 90’s and was a long-time member of the Altar and Rosary Society. She was dedicated in protecting the unborn, praying and sending letters to the editor of newspapers throughout the county.

Mrs. Jurco Co-Owned and Operated Jurco Farm Market at the corner of Butternut Ridge and Avon Beldon Road in North Ridgeville since 1950. One of her passions was traveling.

Survivors include daughters, Lorraine Glass of Powell, Mary (Larry) Knapp of N. Ridgeville, Margaret (Jayce) Ashwill of Powell, Theresa Jurco D.C. of Encinitas, CA, sons, John (Barbara) of Elyria, James (Victoria) of Palm Harbor, FL and Albert Jurco of Encinitas, CA, 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren and sister, Dorothy Adams of Miami, FL.

She was preceded in death by her husband Albert, daughter, Joanne, son Paul, grandson, Mathew Jurco, parents Adam and Wlayslawa (nee Starczewski) Zbydnowski, brothers, John, Joseph and Stanley Zbydnowski, sisters, Cecelia Zgrabic and Helen Romanowski.

Due to the current COVID 19 restrictions, a public drive thru visitation will be held on Wednesday from 10-11AM at Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Funeral services will be private but livestreamed on Bogner Family Funeral Home Facebook page at 11AM Wednesday. A Public Memorial Mass will be held at a later date.

Private interment will be at St. Peter's Cemetery, North Ridgeville.
