Juan J. Ramos Figueroa, 84, Enjoyed Reading the Bible
Juan J. Ramos Figueroa, 84, of Puerto Rico, Paterson NJ and formerly of Lorain, OH, passed away on May 26, 2020 at St. Joseph Hospital in Paterson, New Jersey.
Juan was born to his loving parents, Pablo Ramos and Isabel Figueroa Ramos on May 28, 1936 in Naguabo, Puerto Rico. He married his wife Nereida Correa Valentin on June 6, 1959.
Juan was a carpenter and a Pastor of La Iglesia Los Ministros and La Iglesia de Dios Encomunión. He enjoyed reading the bible.
He is survived by his children, Raquel Ramos, Maria Ramos, Nereida Ramos, Sara Gonzalez, Juan Ramos, Samuel Ramos, Magdalena Lopez and Mara Ramos; and many loving grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Nereida Correa; parents, Pablo and Isabel; and brothers, Pablo Ramos, Prudencio Ramos, Marcelino Ramos and Miguel Ramos and sister, Teresa Ramos.

We give thanks to God for giving us a father that over all thinks he loved God, a role model Dad that taught us to also love God. He never gave up, with God’s help he taught us the right path that we live today. Thank you for the love that you had for our mother, it was a great example. You will always live in our hearts. Thank you for showing us the way of life. Like Psalm 1, verse 3 says: like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither, whatever they do, prospers and today we are the fruit of that tree. We love you from the bottom of our hearts. We will always love you. You will be missed our lovely father.
Juan’s family will receive family and friends at Reidy-Scanlan-Giovannazzo Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 2150 Broadway, Lorain, OH, (440) 244-1961 on Tuesday, June 2, 2020 from 3:00 to 6:30 PM. The Family will have a private time from 3:00 to 4:00 pm. Visiting hours for friends will be welcome from 4:00 to 6:00 PM ONLY. Due to COVID-19, the funeral home and family will require social distancing during visitation. Christian burial services will be held on Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at 11:00 AM at New Russia Township Cemetery in Oberlin, OH, Rev.
