Marilyn Lee Poduska, 76, Accomplished Bowler

She was born in Cleveland and grew up in Westlake and graduated from Westlake High School class of 1961. She resided in North Ridgeville for most of her life before moving to Elyria 4 years ago.
Marilyn retired from Bay Furnace where she worked in the office.
She was an accomplished bowler, bowling in several leagues, enjoyed playing bingo, bridge with friends, traveling to casinos, and was an avid Cleveland sports fan.
Survivors include her husband of 54 years, William E. Bill Jr., two daughters, Christine (James) Taylor of Elyria, Beth (Dan) Jenkins of Amherst, son William D. (Gina) Poduska of North Olmsted; grandchildren Sgt. Joshia Robinson, Pvt. Emily Robinson, Olivia and Kaleigh Poduska, Cecilia Jenkins, Nathan Taylor; sisters Judy (Bill) Draves of North Olmsted and Kathy (George) Zehnder of Chesterland.
She was preceded in death by her parents Wilford and Evelyn Miller.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 5 -8 PM at Bogner Family Funeral Home 36625 Center Ridge Road North Ridgeville. Due to the current COVID 19 pandemic, social distancing and face covering are required, if you do not have a mask, we will gladly provide one. Funeral services will be private but will be streamed live on Bogner Family Funeral Home Facebook page at 4:15 PM Thursday. Marilyn’s brother-in-law, Rev. George Zehnder will officiate. Private burial and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
