Brian P. Bratton, 64, Enjoyed Fishing and Golfing

Photo of Brian P. Bratton Brian P. Bratton, 64, of Wellington, died Tuesday January 5, 2021 at Mercy Health in Lorain after a sudden illness.

He was born June 13, 1956 in Lorain and had been a lifelong area resident.

Brian was a graduate of Admiral King High School in Lorain. He worked at Parker-Hannifin as a tool & die maker and machinist before retiring. He had also owned Party Time Rentals and recently worked as a bus driver and bus route coordinator for Wellington Schools.

Brian was a long-time Cleveland Browns season ticket holder having seats that transitioned from his father for over 50 years.

He was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Oberlin. He enjoyed going to his daughter Leah’s school and sports activities, fishing and golfing.

He is survived by his wife of 27 years Paula “Polly” Bratton, daughter Leah Bratton, brother Angelo (Rita) Ciu, sister Michele (Gus) Madera and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Harry P & Amelia “Molly” Bratton (nee Letizia).

The family will receive friends Saturday January 9, 2021 from 10:00 am until the time of funeral services at 11:00 am at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave, Lorain. The Rev. David Trask, pastor of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, will preside. Attendees are required to wear facial coverings and observe COVID-19 social distancing guidelines that are displayed throughout the funeral chapel.

Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Lorain.
