Merle L. Moore, 88, Dedicated Homemaker

She was born in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania on November 13, 1932 and had been a resident of Lorain since 1955.

A dedicated homemaker, Merle was a long-time and devoted member of Broadway Assembly.

In her free time she enjoyed reading her Bible, walking, and enjoying luncheons with her friends.

Survivors include sons Duane of Lorain, Gary of Carlisle Township, and Lloyd of North Las Vegas, Nevada, and daughter Judy Moore of Lorain. She also leaves grandchildren Amy Moore, LeaNora Moore, Miguel Moore, and Carlos Moore along with six great grandchildren, and brother Carl Frost of Waynesburg, Pennsylvania.

Merle was preceded in death by her husband Donald in 2010, grandson Eric in 2011, parents Forest R. and Ferne (nee Walker) Frost, brother Dale Frost, and sister Frieda Stickles.

Visitation will be Monday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of funeral services at 10:00 a.m. in the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Avenue, Lorain. Reverend Kenneth Crews will officiate. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memory Gardens in Avon.
