Carol A. Krol, 78, Enjoyed Reading and Jazz Music
Carol A. Krol (nee Billick), 78, of Lorain, died Sunday February 21, 2021 at Mercy New Life Hospice in Lorain after a brief illness.
She was born October 20, 1942 in Lorain and grew up in South Lorain. She graduated from Lorain High School with the 1960 B class.
Carol worked at BF Goodrich in Avon Lake as a secretary in the engineering department and then as a receptionist at the Lakeland Institute in Lorain.
She was a member of the former St Stanislaus Catholic Church in Lorain. She enjoyed reading, jazz music, polka dancing and monthly get-togethers with her lady friends.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years Thomas M. Krol; children: Kevin Krol (Anne) of Bay Village, Amanda Krol of Lakewood and Greg Krol (Jen Stevenson) of Chicago; granddaughter Jane, sister Phyllis Teleha (Andrew) and brother David Billick (Pat). She was preceded in death by her parents Michael & Mary Billick (nee Jesko).
Private family funeral services will be held with burial in Calvary Cemetery in Lorain.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave, Lorain.
