Evelyn Castro-Ralat, 61, Enjoyed Bingo and Poker

She was born on April 11, 1959 to Juan A. Castro and Milagros Gutierrez Burgos. Evelyn was raised by Francisco Gutierrez Burgos whom she joins in heaven.

Evelyn graduated from Southview High School in 1977. She worked for 16 years at Shurtape Technologies in Avon as a Grade II Operator. Evelyn enjoyed bingo, poker, playing cornhole and spending time with her family.

She will be deeply missed by her loving husband of 28 years Luis A. Ralat; daughters Lisa Lopez of Lorain and Madelyn LeBron (David) of Lorain; stepsons Anthony Ralat (Yanely) and Luis A. Ralat Jr. (Cindy) both of New Jersey; her grandchildren Maiya, David and Daymon LeBron; sister Carmin Castro of Lorain and half siblings Zulma Castro of Pennsylvania, Alba Castro of Humacao, Puerto Rico, Hector L. Castro, Nicky Castro, Ulises Castro, Victor M. Castro and Jose Gutierrez.

Other than her parents, Evelyn was preceded in death by her brother Juan A. Castro.

Her family will receive friends at Sacred Heart Chapel, 4301 Pearl Ave, Lorain from 8:30 until 9:30 AM Mass of Christian Burial. Rev. Father William A. Thaden, Pastor will officiate.
