Julianne G. Jacovetti, 93, Known for Her Positive Thinking and Humor

Photo of Julianne G. Jacovetti Julianne G. Jacovetti (nee Brezina), age 93, of Lorain, passed away peacefully at Avon Oaks Nursing Home on the afternoon of Monday April 12, 2021 following an illness of three years.

She was born in Clymer, Pennsylvania and had been a resident of Ohio since her childhood.

Julianne formerly attended both Holy Trinity Catholic Church and St. Stanislaus Church in Lorain.

Known for her positive thinking and humor, her upbeat personality was known to inspire young and old alike. In addition, her ideas pertaining to decorating and crafting inspired and influenced many.

When presented with free time, Julianne was passionate about travel and gambling junkets.

She is survived by sons Alan Kata of Lorain, and Theodore M. Kata of Sheffield Village. She also leaves grandson Darrell Bozman (Melissa) of Wellington, great grandchildren Levi and Kyleigh Bozman, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Julianne was preceded in death by her first husband Theodore C. Kata, her second husband Richard Jacovetti, daughters Constance and Janice Kata, son Jeffrey Kata, parents Andrew and Anna (nee Gajdos) Brezina, brothers Michael, Andrew, Steven, and Charles Brezina, and sisters Anna Kohut and Betty Sarlauskas.
