Bienvenida Pineiro, 92, Enjoyed Reading and Writing Poetry

Bienvenida Pineiro (nee Orellano), age 92, left her loving family to go to her heavenly home and into the arms of her blessed Savior on Saturday, April 17, 2021 after a long illness.

Born April 4, 1929 in Caguas, Puerto Rico, she moved to Lorain in 1952.
Bienvenida was a member of Sacred Heart Chapel, Lorain where she was active with the Charismatic Prayer Group and other various groups at the church. She enjoyed reading and writing poetry.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Emiliano; parents, Marcelino and Encarnacion (nee Flores) Pineiro; son, Emiliano Jr.; brothers, Juan, Jose, Carnelio and Marcial; and sister, Isaida Ortiz.
Surviving are her children, Jose L. Pineiro, Carmen (Jose) Lopez, Margie (Juan) Mercado, Linda Pineiro and Richard Pineiro all of Lorain, Jenny (Alfred) Santana of Florida and Carlos (Tami) Pineiro of Dayton; daughter in law, InSun Pineiro of Lorain,11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; and a sister, Rosita Santiago of Lorain.

Friends and family are welcome to attend visitation and funeral services, but due to Covid-19, everyone will be required to social distance, wear facial covering and refrain from embracing. Visitation will be Thursday from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm in the Dovin Funeral and Cremation Specialists, 2701 Elyria Ave, Lorain and on Friday from 8:30 am until the time of mass at 9:30 am at Sacred Heart Chapel, 4301 Pearl Ave, Lorain.
