Timothy L. Ardo, 81, U.S. Army Veteran
Timothy L. Ardo, 81, of Lorain, passed away on Tuesday, May 4, 2021, surrounded by his wife and children.
He was born in Lorain October 31, 1939 to Louis J. Ardo and Mary Lou Belgrave (nee Wojtko). Tim was a lifelong resident.
Tim was a United States Army Veteran and retired from General Motors as a member of the United Auto Workers.
He enjoyed spending time with his family and watching the Cleveland Indians with his beloved wife. His favorite pass time, by far, was taking full advantage of retirement.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Carol Ann (nee Flontek); sons, Don (Diana Rondon) Ardo and Paul (Debra) Ardo both of Lorain and Greg (Damaris) Ardo of Elyria; brother, Thad (Salma) Ardo of Tehachapi, California and a sister, Mary Lou Conley of Lorain; granddaughters, Cyndy Ardo of Mt. Sterling, Ohio, Jessica (Joey) Nelson of Lorain, and Jade Aponte-Ardo of Cleveland; great-grandchildren; Joey Nelson Jr., James Nelson, Layla Nelson all of Lorain and Molly Binegar of Mt. Sterling and a host of nieces and nephews.
Other than his parents, Tim was preceded in death by an infant brother, Thomas L. Ardo and an infant daughter, Jacqueline S. Ardo.
A private service for immediate family will be held.
