Thomas Patrick Stimac, 55, Enjoyed Gardening and Cooking

He was born May 17, 1965 in Cleveland, Ohio as the eldest of five children. He was raised in Cleveland before moving to Sheffield Lake during his Junior high school year and lived there until he graduated from Cleveland State University. Upon relocating to the Seattle, Washington area, he started his own electronic computer repair company and taught at Seattle University. In the early 2000’s, Tommy took a job at Phillips Medical specializing in the installation and repair of Magnetic Resonance Imaging machines (MRI’s). With Phillips, he was able to travel abroad extensively. Tommy enjoyed, gardening, cooking, and most outdoor activities especially riding his motorcycles. Most of all Tommy enjoyed being with his family and friends. He was the life of the party, the rock of the family and the person to lean on. Tommy dedicated his life to his family especially his mother whom he cared for until her passing in 2019.

He is survived by his sisters: Tammy Woods (Robert), Toni Ziegman (Kevin) and Traci Davison; brother Timothy Stimac (Michelle); nieces: Destiny Menear (Marcus), Danielle Dufalla (Kenneth), Jacklyne Woods; nephews: Bobby Woods III, Alex Stimac (Kaileigh), Nicholas Stimac & Cameron Stimac; his lifetime friends John and Jeanne Smolka and many other aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father Thomas W. Stimac, his beloved mother Mary Jo Stimac, and incredibly special and beloved nephew Danne R. Davison.

The family will receive friends Tuesday May 18, 2021 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave., Lorain, Oh. Funeral services will be held Wednesday May 19, 2021 at 11:00 am in the funeral chapel. The Rev. Stephen Shields, pastor of St Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Sheffield Lake, will preside. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park in Amherst Township. All attendees are required to wear masks and observe COVID-19 social distancing protocol displayed at the funeral chapel entrance and throughout the building.
