Antonio Reyes, 72, U.S. Army Veteran
Antonio Reyes, 72, of Lorain, died suddenly on Sunday May 23, 2021 at his home while working in his yard.
He was born October 3, 1948 in Utuado, Puerto Rico and had resided in Lorain most of his life.
Antonio served with the US Army from 1969-1971. He worked as a custodian for Lorain city schools retiring in 2011. He was an avid Cleveland sports fan and enjoyed bowling. He was a member of St Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Lorain and the former St Stanislaus Catholic Church in Lorain.
He is survived by his wife of 15 years Linda J Reyes (nee Balogh), daughter Dana Reyes, grandchildren: Anthony Nichol (Rachel) and Savannah Vargovich; great granddaughter Leona Nichol; stepdaughter Michelle Rupert; stepgrandsons Caleb & Jacob Rupert and siblings: Frank Reyes, Minerva Leonard (Larry), Elizabeth Jacinto (Robert), Jose Reyes, Rey Reyes, Gladys Torres (Dennis), Rachel Gentile and Janet Reyes (Phil). He was preceded in death by his parents Inez & Carmen Reyes (nee Guzman).
Private family cremation services will be held.
