Connie Renee Jones, 48, Enjoyed Reading

Born in Lorain on September 10, 1972, she had been a resident of the city for the majority of her life.

Connie completed training as a cosmetologist in Kentucky and had been employed as a board-certified stylist for a variety of establishments here in Ohio.

In her free time she enjoyed reading with a special interest in novels. She also liked playing with her nieces as well as cutting hair for family and friends.

She is survived by her son Trey Ralston of Lorain, mother Karen (nee Carver) and step-father Eddie Rodriguez of Lorain and sisters Kristine Mahaffey of North Ridgeville and Kari Jones of Lorain. She also leaves nieces Alaina Partin, Hannah Mahaffey, Haley Mahaffey, Kira Brown, Karis Brown, and nephew Andrew Jones.

Connie was preceded in death by her father Daniel Jones in 2004.

Graveside services will be conducted Monday June 7th at 10:00 a.m. in Ridge Hill Memorial Park – 44805 North Ridge Road, Amherst. (Attendees are asked to gather along the cemetery’s entrance boulevard prior to services.) Reverend Rosalina Rivera, pastor of First Evangelical Lutheran Church will preside.

Memorial contributions are encouraged to Connie’s family.
