Sandra J. Stavesky, 76, Enjoyed Morning Workouts
Sandra J. “Sandi” Stavesky (nee Hawkes), 76, of Lorain, died Tuesday July 6, 2021 at her home.
She was born January 17, 1945 in Commerce, Georgia and had lived in Lorain most of her life.
Sandi graduated from Lorain High School in 1963 where she was a member of the Y Hi Sweater Club and had made many lifelong friends.
She worked as the Property Manager for Millenium Management Company retiring after 25 years.
Sandi enjoyed her morning workouts with her many friends at Anytime Fitness in Amherst and looked forward to meeting her friends for lunch.
She is survived by her sons: Mark Stavesky (Angie) of Lorain and Brian Stavesky (Brenda) of Groton, Connecticut; grandchildren: Joshua Stavesky (Chrisie), Christian Snezek, Allison Barry (fiancé Logan), Quinn Allen, Jacob Stavesky and Nick Stavesky; great grandchildren Elias & Enzo Medina; brother Larry Hawkes (Carol) and sisters Diane Cunningham (Carl) and Paulette Kerpics. She was preceded in death by her mother Dorothy (nee Langston), brother William Hawkes and 1st husband David Ratcliff.
The family will receive friends Friday July 9, 2021 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave, Lorain. Cremation will follow. Her ashes will be interred in a public ceremony on Monday July 12, 2021 at 11:00 am at Ridge Hill Memorial Park in Amherst Township.
