Gloria "Jean" Johnson, 74, Enjoyed Drawing Whimsical Characters and Scrapbooking

She was born November 8, 1946 in Lorain and graduated in 1964 from Lorain High School. On March 2, 1968 she married Donald Johnson, and moved to North Ridgeville in 1971.
A secretary by trade, she retired from North Ridgeville City Schools, Wilcox Elementary, after 15+ years of service.
Jean was very creative and enjoyed drawing whimsical characters and scrapbooking. She also enjoyed camping, traveling, and socializing with family and friends.
Survivors include her daughter Kelly Johnson of Conneaut, Ohio, son James (Shawna) Johnson of Elyria, sister-in-law Darlene Wilson of Lorain and many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Donald in 2015, parents, Vince and Florence Wilson, brother William Wilson and her beloved dog Max.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Bogner Family Funeral Home 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville where services will be held 12 noon Thursday. Rev. Chuck Behrens will officiate. Services will be live streamed on Bogner Family Funeral Home Facebook page. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
