Mildred S. Telloni, 98, Enjoyed Casino Trips

Photo of Mildred S. Telloni Mildred S. Telloni (nee Mihok), 98, of Lorain, died peacefully on Friday October 15, 2021, at Kingston of Vermilion.

She was born October 26, 1922, in Lorain and had been a lifelong resident of Lorain.

Mildred graduated from Lorain High School Class of 1940 B. She worked at S Weitz Clothiers, at a bakery in South Lorain and at her brothers-in-law television repair shop downtown Broadway.

Mildred was an active member of Ss Peter & Paul Lutheran Church in Lorain where she taught Sunday school (catechism), sang in the church choir and was a member of the Ruth Naomi Ladies Guild. She was a member of the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League and the Lorain Senior Center where she enjoyed making crafts that she would give to her children and grandchildren. She was an avid Cleveland Indians and Cavaliers fan and enjoyed casino bus trips.

She is survived by her children: Elaine Brown (Steven) of Sandusky and Rev John Telloni of Massillon; grandchildren: John M. Telloni (Michelle) of Wadsworth, Dr Stephen Telloni (Dr Stacy) of Cary, North Carolina, Maria Tazzi (Christopher) of Hudson and Amy Telloni of Massillon and 11 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Dominic Telloni in 1987, parents Stephen & Maria Mihok (nee Cirbus), brother Stephen Mihok Jr and sisters Mary Bendik and Ruth Butkowski.

The family will receive friends Monday October 18, 2021, from 10:00 am until the time of funeral services at 11:00 am at SS Peter & Paul Lutheran Church, 1500 Lincoln Blvd, Lorain. The Rev. Edgar Anthony, pastor, will preside. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park in Amherst Township.
