Dennis A. Babinsky, 74, Enjoyed Golfing

Dennis was born in Lorain on December 1, 1946 and attended Holy Trinity Parish School as a youth; he later graduated from Admiral King High School.
He had been employed for a number of years as parts manager for Liberty Ford in Vermilion. Previously, he had worked in the same capacity at Mike Bass Ford in Sheffield Village.
He was a former member of the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge # 199 in Lima; in his free time he enjoyed golf and always looked forward to his weekly Sunday morning matches with his sons. He was also a diehard fan of the Cleveland Indians and Browns sports teams.
Dennis is survived by his wife Cheryl (nee Bridenstine), son Scott (Michele McConley-Babinsky) of Amherst, Michael (Christine) of Lima, and grandchildren Michael S. Babinsky of Lima, along with Angelena and Kerey Babinsky both of Amherst.
He was preceded in death by his father Joseph A. Babinsky in 1996, mother Pearl Babinsky (nee Plato) in 1995, and brothers Joseph in 2005, Robert in 2006, and James in 2015.
Information regarding a celebration of Dennis’ life will be announced once details are finalized. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, Lorain.
