Cheryl A. Hruby, 65, Found Great Joy in Caring for Others

She was born in Cleveland, where she resided until moving to North Ridgeville in 1996.

Cheryl was a secretary for Cuyahoga County Juvenile Court for many years.

She was a faithful person and was a member of Avon Christian Heritage Assembly of God. She found great joy in caring for others, gardening, spoiling her cats, and cherished the time she got to spend with her granddaughter.

Survivors include her son Steven (Ashley) Hruby and granddaughter Nova of Cincinnati, Ohio, her mother, Marian Barth of Lorain, her step-father Bill Johnson of Oberlin, brothers, Frank (Teri) Smith of Parma, Rick Johnson of Lorain, sisters, Diane (Bernie) Soboslay of Brunswick, Dawn (Dan) Saval of Bellville, MI and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 3 PM until time of memorial service at 4 PM at Bogner Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. (Masks are required) Pastor, Jeffrey Phail will officiate. Services will be Livestreamed on Bogner Family Funeral Home Facebook page.
