Donna J. Falbo, 74, Loved Bowling at Slovak Lanes

Photo of Donna J. Falbo Donna J. Falbo (nee Queen), 74, of Amherst, died Friday December 10, 2021 at Mercy New Life Hospice in Lorain after a lengthy illness and with her family by her side.

She was born October 19, 1947 in Wayne County, West Virginia and had resided in Amherst most of her life.

Donna enjoyed bowling in the Friday Night League at Slovak Lanes, ceramics, traveling and casino gambling. She loved spending time with her grandson and great grandson. She was a member of the Italian-American Veterans Post #1 Ladies Auxiliary and St Joseph Catholic Church in Amherst.

She is survived by her son Scott Falbo (Robbie) of Wakeman, daughter Jeanette Milko (Jim) of Lorain, grandson Nicholas Falbo (Lauren Conley) of Norwalk, great grandson Declan Falbo and sister Colleen of Lorain. She was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years Sam Falbo Jr in 2001, brother Jeffry M. Queen in 2014, sister Bonnie Lou Ortega, father Milton Queen and mother Louellen Laubenthal (nee Adkins).

The family will receive friends Tuesday December 14, 2021 from 4:00-8:00 pm at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway, Lorain. Funeral services will be held Wednesday December 15, 2021 at 11:00 am in the funeral chapel with the Rev. Ronald Brickner, pastor of St Mary Catholic Church in Wakeman, presiding. Burial will follow at Ridge Hill Memorial Park in Amherst Township.
