Theresa A. Sadowski, 93, Dearly Loved Her Grandchildren and Great Granddaughter

Photo of Theresa A. Sadowski Theresa A. Sadowski (nee Michalski), 93, of Lorain, died peacefully on Friday January 28, 2022 at Main Street Care Center in Avon Lake.

She was born August 23, 1928 in Lorain and had been a lifelong resident of Lorain.

Theresa graduated from Lorain High School and worked at General Industries in Elyria for 43 years until her retirement.

She was a member of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Lorain where she was a member and President of the church Altar & Rosary Society. After her retirement, she volunteered at Lorain Community Hospital for many years. She dearly loved her grandchildren and great granddaughter.

She is survived by her son Dale Sadowski (Cynthia), granddaughters: Alison Garland (Dakota) and Anna Huszti (Michael), step granddaughter Kaci Catanese (Charles), step great granddaughter Kashmir Catanese and sisters Florence Jakatis and Rosemary Boyer (Tom). She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years Edward P. Sadowski in 2005, parents Andrew & Anna Michalski (nee Dybaz), daughter-in-law Beth Sadowski (nee Klopfenstein) in 2012 and brothers Andrew, Frank & Raymond Michalski.

The family will receive friends Friday February 4, 2022 from 4:00-8:00 pm at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Lorain where the Nativity Altar & Rosary Society will pray the rosary Friday at 3:45 pm. The family asks that all attendees wear masks. Prayer services will be held Saturday February 5, 2022 at 11:00 am in the funeral chapel followed by the mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 am at Nativity BVM Catholic Church, 1454 Lexington Ave, Lorain. The Rev Gerald Keller will preside. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Lorain.
