Alana E. Hall, 61, Enjoyed Playing Bing, Gardening, and Crocheting

Photo of Alana E. Hall Alana E. Hall (nee Pruchinsky), age 61, of Sheffield Township, passed away at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation on the morning of Tuesday February 22, 2022 following an extended illness.

Alana was born in Lorain on July 3, 1960 and had been a resident of Lorain County for her entire life; she attended Clearview High School.

She completed certification as a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) and had been employed in that capacity by Sprenger Health Care for many years.

Alana enjoyed a variety of hobbies in her free time including playing bingo, gardening and crocheting. She was also a diehard fan of the Cleveland Browns and a lover of small animals including her pet dog and cat. Without hesitation, her favorite pastime was found in her role as a loving wife and devoted mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her husband with whom she recently celebrated her forty-fourth wedding anniversary Alan, son Dustin, and grandchildren Mariah, Liberty, and Dusty. She also leaves her brother Scott “Tike” Pruchinsky (Sarah) and sister Doreen Pruchinsky.

Alana was preceded in death by her son Preston Alan Hall in 2012, parents Jacob and Connie (nee Down) Pruchinsky, brother Donald “Jay” Pruchinsky, and sisters Lauri Pruchinsky and Ivadene “Dee” Garcia.

Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00 until 6:00 p.m. in the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel – 3224 Broadway Avenue, Lorain. Funeral services will be Monday at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral chapel with Reverend Rich Henry, pastor of The River (formerly Amherst Church of the Nazarene), officiating.
