Joseph Lee Agosto, 7, Full of Energy and Life

Photo of Joseph Lee Agosto It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing away of Joseph Lee Agosto of Elyria, who passed away on Sunday, March 27, 2022, at the young age of seven.

Joseph had battled Leukemia since he was four. He has left family and friends with such a deep and profound sadness.

Joseph was born on February 17, 2015. His parents were Jaime and Ramonita Agosto. Joseph was a young boy full of energy and life. He enjoyed many things, especially his iPad, his body skateboard, his potholders, and his stretchy sensory bands. Joseph loved to jump on his bed and sit in the window and take in the sun. He really enjoyed sitting on the porch swing having the breeze blowing through his hair. He also really liked going to school on the bus. He had two speeds: fast, and faster. At times there was no walking, everything was about running here or running there. Joseph wasn’t a candy kind of kid; he loved his bacon. As long as he had his meats, he was super happy.

Joseph will be missed by his Mom and Dad and grandparents Jose and Ana Agosto, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. And by so many more friends that were touched by his life.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ramon T. and Lillian Matos, and by his best friend Xavier Cruz Perez; and also, many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

His family will receive friends at House of Praise International Church at 4321 Elyria Avenue, Lorain, Sunday, April 3, from 6:00PM to 7:30PM Celebration of Life Service. Pastor, Gilbert Silva and Pastor, Joel Orona will officiate. Viewing and a short service will also be on Monday at House of Praise International Church at 10:00AM. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery.

Arrangements are by Richard J. Reidy Funeral Home, 1783 East 31st Street, South Lorain. For expressions of sympathy and further information please see, Reidyfuneral.com.
