Daisy L. Pivacek-Rich, 96, Enjoyed League Bowling

She was born September 29, 1925 in Lorain and had been a lifelong area resident.
Daisy graduated from Lorain High School and attended Bowling Green State University where she earned her Bachelor Degree in Education.
She taught 1st and 2nd grades at Longfellow and Emerson School in Lorain and at William Barr Elementary School in Sheffield Lake retiring after 30 years.
Daisy enjoyed league bowling, roller skating and dance skating, square dancing and traveling. She was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Redeemer in Lorain where she had sang in the church choir. Along with her husband Anthony, they were the oldest couple to exercise at Planet Fitness in Elyria. They enjoyed spending their winters in Ocean Springs, Mississippi.
She is survived by her daughter Laura Doll (Robert) of Sheffield Township, stepson Kenneth Rich (Kathy) of Lorain, granddaughter: Emily Cremidis (Alex) of California, step grandson Dale Kiesling (Rachael), 2 great grandchildren, sister-in-law Mary Jo Blumenshine (Jack) and niece Leslie Zuk (Barry). She was preceded in death by her 1st husband William J. Pivacek, 2nd husband Anthony Rich on February 6, 2022, daughter Jane Cole, father Edward Crump, mother Elizabeth Crump-Buttle (nee Pycraft), stepfather George Buttle and brother George Crump.
A private family celebration of life will be held with burial in Elmwood Cemetery in Lorain.
