Arleen J. Price, 67, Avid Shopper
Arleen J. Price (nee Myers), age 67, of Lorain, passed away at Mercy Health Lorain Hospital on the evening of Wednesday April 20, 2022 following an extended illness.
Arleen was born in Lorain on June 17, 1954 and was a graduate of Southview High School; she remained a life-long resident of the city.
A beloved wife and mother and loving sister and aunt, she was an avid shopper who always welcomed the opportunity to dine out. Arleen was also an avid collector of Longaberger Baskets, Precious Moments, and Boyd’s Bears collectables.
She leaves her husband of thirty-six years Frederick Price along with her son Duane (Rachel) Price residing in Lorain. Additional survivors include sisters Denise Rial (Robert) of Franklin, Pennsylvania and Janice Poplar of Lorain, along with brothers Keith Myers (Patricia) of Amherst and Dale Myers of Lorain.
Arleen was preceded in death by her parents Gerald and Carole (nee Porostovsky) Myers.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. in the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel – 3224 Broadway Avenue, Lorain. Funeral services will begin with closing prayers offered there at 10:15 a.m. on Thursday and will be followed by the celebration of her Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Joseph Catholic Church – 200 St. Joseph Drive in Amherst. Revered Timothy J. O’Connor will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
