Bessie I. Kramo, 99, Enjoyed Bowling and Traveling

She was born October 21, 1922 in Lorain and was a lifelong resident.
Betty graduated from Lorain High School in 1940 and was a member of the National Honor Society.
She worked at US Steel in Lorain for 43 years as an accounting clerk, retiring in 1986.
Betty served on the board of LorMet Community Credit Union for over 10 years and is a director emeritus. She is a member of St Peter Parish in Lorain, and the YMCA where she did aerobics into her early 90’s. She enjoyed bowling, traveling, ballroom dancing, and roller skating in her younger years.
She is survived by her nieces Karen Barkstrom (Michael) and Amy Ferraro Redden and dear friends and caregivers Drew McGee and Nancy Danielson. She was preceded in death by her husband Arthur P. Kramo in 2001, parents Harry W. and Ethel Redden (nee Johnston), sister Thelma Glading, brothers Eugene and John Redden, nephews Charles Redden and Keith Glading and sister-in-law Joyce Redden.
The family will receive friends Monday April 25, 2022 from 9:30 am until the time of the prayer services at 10:30 am at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway, Lorain. The mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 am at St Peter Parish, 3501 Oberlin Ave, Lorain. The Rev. Craig Hovanec, pastor, will preside. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Lorain.
