Juan Santiago Lopez, 84, Loved Gardening

Juan was born on March 31, 1938, in Utuado, Puerto Rico to Juan Santiago and Juana Lopez.

Juan retired from the greenhouse industry many years ago, which led to his love and enjoyment of gardening. He collected figurines, enjoyed riding his bike, and overall spending time with family and friends. He was cared for by his son and many nieces, specifically Juanita Torres and Paula Santiago, who he spoke fondly of. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Other than his parents, Juan was preceded in death by his beloved wife Guadalupe “Lupe” in 1985 and brother Antonio Santiago.

He is survived by his son Joselito S. Lopez and sisters Carmen Maria (Sixto) Santiago and Luz Aida Santiago; nieces Carmencita (David) Bloomfield, Yolanda Santiago, Milagro (Mark) Santiago, Juanita (Ruben) Torres, Paula Santiago, Elizabeth Santiago, Marisol (Gabe) Bonilla, Anasaria Santiago, Liznell Santiago Nancy (Miguel) Santiago, Janice Santiago and many more nieces and nephews and great nieces & nephews.

His family will receive friends Monday, May 2, 2022, from 6 until time of service at 7pm at the Richard J. Reidy Funeral Home, 1783 East 31st Street, South, Lorain.
