Joseph F. Jones, 68, U.S. Army Veteran
Joseph F. Jones, age 68, of North Ridgeville passed away suddenly Friday May 13, 2022, at his home.
Born in Fairborn, Ohio, he had resided in North Ridgeville for the last 30 years.
He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War.
Joseph earned an Associate Degree in Computer Science from Tri-C. He was a programmer/analyst for National City and PNC for 35 years retiring in 2017.
He enjoyed fishing, boxing (he boxed in his younger days), going to the casino, going to the beach and spending time with his granddaughter.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Linda (nee Marini), son, Kenneth of Normal, IL, daughter, Andrea (Adam) Elswick of Broadview Heights, son Nicholas (Allison) of Dallas, TX, granddaughter Prudence Rose, sisters, Nita (Bob) Sims of West Fork, AR, Michelle (Robert) Haff of Greer, SC and brother Bill (Carol) Jones of Battle Creek, MI.
He was preceded in death by his parents Bill and Beatrice Jones.
The family will receive friends Saturday May 21, 2022 from 10 AM -12 Noon followed by a memorial service at Bogner Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services 36625 Center Ridge Road North Ridgeville. Rev. Kevin Crow, Pastor of Harvest Ridge will officiate.
