Karen J. Solomon, 80, Enjoyed Going to Broadway Shows and Indian's Games

She was born in Detroit and grew up in Southfield, Michigan before moving to North Ridgeville where she lived for the past 55 years.
Karen worked as a store manager for Ridge Cleaners and Fussy’s.
She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church in North Ridgeville where she was active with her husband in the Knights of Columbus and was a Eucharistic Minister visiting the homebound.
She and Bob enjoyed going to Broadway shows and Indian’s games. She also loved to read and travel.
Survivors include her son, David of North Ridgeville, daughter, Audrey Solomon of Toledo, grandchildren, Mitchell (Cortney), Kara, Casey and Kory, great granddaughters, Charlotte and Rosie, sisters, Velma Jean White of S. Lyon, Michigan, Marian (Patrick) Wheeler of Redford, Michigan and brother, Lawrence (Margie) Letke of Wayne, Michigan.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert just last month, son Andrew, parents, Franklin and Genevieve (nee Crigger) Letke.
The family will receive friends Friday from 2-4PM and 6-9PM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville, where the Knights of Columbus will recite a rosary at 7:30 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at 9:30AM at St. Peter Church, 35777 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. (Please meet at church) Fr. Bob Franco, Pastor, will be the celebrant. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
