Marie Mahalow Malley, 59, Owned North Coast Grapevine Tours

She was born January 2, 1963 to Joseph and Ann Mahalow and was a lifetime resident of Lorain.
Marie graduated from Admiral King High School and attended Baldwin Wallace University where she earned a certificate in Human Resource Management.
Marie worked as a recruiting manager at KeyBank, Kaiser Permanente and the Visiting Nurses Association. Along with her husband Frank, she owned North Coast Grapevine Tours where she organized wine tasting excursions.
She was a member of St Peter Parish, the former Holy Trinity Catholic Church, St Ann Lodge Br# 118, Fraternal Catholic Slovak Ladies Association and a lifetime member of the American Slovak Home and the Women’s Auxiliary of VFW Post #451 of Lorain. She was proud of her Slovak heritage and enjoyed cooking ethnic dishes. Holiday pierogi making was a family affair. She enjoyed visiting Amish Country, wine touring and her Labrador Retrievers Bailey and Kona.
She is survived by her husband Frank Malley, sister Debra Seronka (Tom), brother Joseph Mahalow, nephew Justin Lukachko (Angela), uncle Pete Mahalow and longtime special friends Sue, Kim, Cindy, Lisa and Louise who showed Marie their undying friendship, love and support. Marie was godmother to Kim’s daughter Fiona. She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph & Ann Mahalow (nee Buri) and aunt Mary Buri.
The family will receive friends Friday June 10, 2022 from 2:00-4:00 pm and 6:00-8:00 pm at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway, Lorain. Prayer services will be held Saturday June 11, 2022 at 10:30 am in the funeral chapel followed by the mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am at St Peter Parish, 3501 Oberlin Ave Lorain. The Rev. Craig Hovanec, pastor, will preside. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Lorain.
