Donna Louise Becker, 82, Enjoyed Spending Time with Her Children and Grandchildren

Donna was a member of St. Francis of Cabrini Parish and attended mass daily for the last 20 years. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and working in her garden. She was an active volunteer at the former St. John Catholic School. She taught physical education and coached the girls’ sports teams for many years. Donna also baked and helped at the churches’ carnivals and bingo. She was an excellent baker and cook.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Becker; parents Adam and Julia (nee Gerron) Wozniak and grandson Brandon N. Wilhelm.

Donna is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Becker of Lorain, sons Robert Becker of Elyria and Richard Becker of Amherst. Also, her beloved grandchildren, Derik Wilhem, Lindsey Becker, Carine (Mike) Bryda, Hannah Becker and (3) great grandchildren.

Her family will receive friends at St. Francis Cabrini Parish, 2143 Homewood Drive (Grove Avenue and Homewood Drive) Lorain on Friday, July 15th from 10:00am until 12:00pm Mass of Christian Burial, Rev. Father Neil Walters will officiate. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.

Her family suggests memorial contribution to the St. Frances Cabrini Endowment Fund.
