Rosemary A. Sadowski, 88, Enjoyed Spending Time with Her Family

Photo of Rosemary A. Sadowski Rosemary A. Sadowski, (nee Breznai), age 88, of Amherst Township, passed away peacefully at her residence on the morning of Sunday August 28, 2022.

Born in Lorain on May 13, 1934, Rosemary was a 1952 graduate of Lorain High School.

In 1955 she married the love of her life, Eugene, and together they built their home in Amherst Township.

Rosemary enjoyed spending time with her family, baking, and crafting, In addition, she was a huge fan of the Cleveland Guardians.

A long-time and devoted parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Amherst, she was deeply religious with a kind heart and caring spirit.

She is survived by sons Michael (Brenda) and Paul (Deborah) both of Amherst Township along with John (Elizabeth) residing in Fort Myers, Florida. Rosemary also leaves five grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and sister Joan Baughman of Avon.

She was preceded in death by her husband Eugene in 2016, parents John and Mary (nee Ballog) Breznai, and brother Robert Breznai in 2015.

Friends may call Friday from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. in the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel – 3224 Broadway Avenue, Lorain. Funeral services will be Saturday beginning with closing prayers offered in the funeral chapel at 8:45 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Church – 200 St. Joseph Drive in Amherst at 9:30 a.m. Reverend Timothy J. O’Connor, Pastor of the parish will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
