RuthAnn Hyde, 60, Enjoyed Bowling and Bingo
RuthAnn Hyde (nee Mezlak), 60, of Painesville and formerly of Lorain, died Wednesday September 28, 2022 at Mercy New Life Hospice in Lorain after a brief illness.
She was born May 19, 1962 in Lorain and had resided in Painesville for over 25 years.
RuthAnn graduated from Lorain High School in 1980 where she received a certificate in vocational foods. She worked as a waitress at Sutter’s Restaurant in Lorain and at Perkins Restaurant & Bakery in Painesville for over 25 years.
She enjoyed bowling, bingo, gardening, watching the Masked Singer and Grey’s Anatomy and coming back to Lorain for the International Festival and parade.
She is survived by her husband of 31 years Clifton Hyde, children: Malena Hyde (fiancé Brennan Radley) and Ryan Hyde; grandchildren Mael Radley and Kairoh Radley; sister Janice McGillivray (Ron); brother Rick Mezlak and mother-in-law Fannie Hyde (nee Jones). She was preceded in death by infant son John Lewis, parents Frank & Eileen Mezlak (nee Coe), sister Judy Mezlak, brothers: Gary, Larry & Frank Mezlak and father-in-law John Hyde.
The family will receive friends Tuesday October 4, 2022 from 10:00 am until the time of funeral services at 1:00 pm at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway, Lorain. The Rev Gary Dorsey, retired pastor of Tower Baptist Church, will preside. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Lorain.
