Monserrate Salas, 54, Will Be Dearly Missed

She was born on November 2, 1968, in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico to Juan El Indio Pagan and Carmen Maria Lebron. She was lovingly known as Monse.
Monse spent her life in service to God and others. During moments of pain and suffering, she was the one people turned to. From helping deliver babies to planning funerals, Monse would go above and beyond to help others. She was a shoulder to cry on, a listening ear and always ready with a word of wisdom.
Monse will be deeply missed by her husband of almost 40 years, Jose M. Salas and her three girls: SuHalee, Damaris (Samuel Seijo), and RaQuel (Diamel Serrano). She was a proud grandma to Sarah Mia, Samuel Jose, and Isaac Herminio. A sister and friend to Anamaria Cuevas and Juan Pagan and a beloved Aunt to countless nephews and nieces.
She is preceded in death by her mom, Carmen Lebron and her stepfather, Julio Julito Rosario.
Monse’s family will receive friends at Iglesia de Dios Pentecostal MI Ebenezer at 3660 Globe Avenue (at East 36th Street), South Lorain, Wednesday, December 28, 2022, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. Service will be at 7:00 PM. Closing prayers will be Thursday at 9:00 AM with burial to follow at Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution may be made to the Richard J. Reidy Funeral Home, 1783 East 31st Street, Lorain, Ohio 44055, to offset burial expenses.
