Felipe Quinones, 96, Worked for Green Circle Growers for Over 20 Years
Felipe Quinones, 96, of Olmsted Falls, passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2023, at his home following a lengthy illness. He was born September 21, 1926, in Utuado, Puerto Rico.
Felipe worked for Green Circle Growers in Oberlin for over 20 years. He loved working in his garden, singing and spending time with his family.
Felipe will be deeply missed by his sons Miguel of Parma, Luis of Olmsted Falls, Orlando and Jose of Lorain; daughters Maria Avila, Genoveva and Socorro Quinones of Lorain and Carmen and Myriam Quinones of Florida; brother Juan Quinones of Puerto Rico; along with many grandchildren; great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Felipe was preceded in death by his wife Ramona Carreras Quinones. His sons Felix and Gilberto Quinones and his daughters Milagros Quinones and Gloria Quinones, and his parents Manuel Quinones and Maria Montero.
His family will receive friends at Richard J. Reidy Funeral Home, 1783 East 31st Street, Lorain, Ohio, 440-277-8164, Thursday, January 19, 2023, from 3 to 7pm. Friends may also call at Sacred Heart Chapel, 4301 Pearl Ave, Lorain Friday, January 20, from 12:30 until 1:30pm Mass of Christian Burial. Rev. Father, William A. Thaden, Pastor will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
